Bring on the Back-ups: "Into the Land of Noobol" by Michael Wm. Kaluta

Can ya think of a better way to kick off the week than with a gorgeous Mike Kaluta Carson of Venus back-up, Groove-ophiles? "Into the Land of Noobol" comes from Korak, Son of Tarzan #54 (July 1973). Can you dig it?

I thought you could!

  1. I liked the Carson of Venus series (and the John Carter and Pellucidar series) almost as much as I did Tarzan and Korak. I wish they had been allowed to run their full course instead of being cut short (in the case of Carter and Pellucidar) or left unresolved (Carson). They were great fun for me and led me to other great stories and characters.

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
